RainStick Shower

FOCUS: Water Conservation, High-Efficiency Bathroom Fixtures

OVERVIEW: RainStick is a water technology company that created North America's first circular shower. What that means is that water is collected, circulated, and cleansed in real-time up to six times before it goes down the drain. In doing so, RainStick is able to give you double the flow rate while saving 80% of water and up to 80% of energy in comparison to a standard shower. When you turn on the RainStick shower, it first collects fresh supplied water into the reservoir, then pumped through the shower system and out of the showerhead. As the water is being used, the water is re-collected into the reservoir and is cleansed in three stages through our integrated and fully automated shower system. The first stage is a micron screen that collects dirt, hair, and debris. The second stage is a high-intensity UV LED that deals with 99.99% of bacteria. The last stage is that we add a small amount of fresh supplied water to keep the loop fresh and to maintain the user's desired water temperature.

Currently, the average North American uses 82 gallons of water every single day. RainStick's vision is to allow people to thrive with only 13 gallons each day, that's an 85% decrease. RainStick Shower is in line with this vision as users can enjoy a 3 GPM flow rate while saving 80% water and up to 80% energy. RainStick is operated out of Canada's only desert, Kelowna, BC and employs professionals that are equally passionate about being global citizens and working together to reduce our environmental footprint. RainStick makes savings water irresistible.
